Nice shot, but why are the bails flying up in the air when the ball appears to be in front of the wicket?

Great shot Danny, Not the cricket shot but the pic He appears to be using the Adam Gilcrist high handed grip on the bat. His technique needs a little work, yours Danny is excellent.

The ball has been bowled with spin, most probably.

Cheers guys! It was definately a good exercise for action shots, and just looking back through them, I only took 9 and 2 were due to a heavy trigger finger!
Anticipation and timing are definately the order of the day with action shots I have found, so I won't be too upset if the next Pentax body only does 4FPS!
This was the 1st attempt, just missed it by a fraction of a second!

And a couple of others

Ah I see:, its just that when I played cricket at school all those years ago the momentum of the ball would drive straight through the wickets knocking them aside, cant remember a ball ever bouncing back off it, unless they were drawn in chalk on a wall somewhereThe ball has bounced back after hitting the stumps
But then again my knowledge of cricket would fill a postage stamp
