I let my plus membership slip but it's less than a tenner so if I want the discounts etc. I can just rejoin.

My Bird Alert Pro annual membership expired without notice, only knew when I couldn't access the site and that was really annoying. May try a different service instead. Or not, we'll see.

Interesting, reflecting a time when labour was cheap. Surprising to see such rubbish brickwork above the faun in the 45 degree angled corner where it has been done so well elsewhere. And in 4 why are random brick heads projecting? But this post makes you look at such things so well done!

That's really great Gareth, well done! Must see if I can get a copy. Last AP I bought had a good review of the K-70.

It's dark, cold, cloudy and wet, and I have a cold. Welcome to the English Midlands in January! Apart from a walk yesterday when the light was too poor to even bother taking a camera I haven't been out for ages and suffering withdrawal symptoms; got so bored I even stared sorting my photos in Lightroom.

Outstanding, really show what the equipment is capable of in the hands of a skilled photographer. You are lucky to live in such a wildlife-rich part of the country to present such opportunities.

Well there couldn't be a K-3III (K three-three!) that would be daft. If you think about the obscure naming, bodies with numbers are conventional models whereas bodies like the KS1 & KS2 are a bit more experimental. KP - maybe P stands for phone? Kodak have just brought out a camera-phone after all.

Interesting that despite the theoretical better performance of primes, zooms are proving most popular in this discussion. With the 18-135 and the 50-135* getting particular praise. I would have to agree that the 50-135* is a very fine lens, large but lovely. I wish the 16-50* was as good.
Interesting lenses used by Davidwozhere.
I have resisted buying prime lenses whilst the new ones are in the pipeline for this year, so just have the 50mm f1.8 which gives great results. Favourite lens is usually the most recently bought, currently the FA 15-30mm.

Sounds like you need to negotiate a fair division of space! I keep boxes on a high shelf in a studio, after all they don't weigh much and smaller ones fit inside larger boxes. Lenses and stuff could also go in small crates on a shelf rather than drawers.

Also CA is a problem with binoculars and telescopes which points to the lens rather than the sensor, I recently switched from Minox binoculars to Leica due to unacceptable CA despite the former using Schott glass with multi-coating.
