There seems to me to be a lot of background hiss when I use the internal microphone on my K-5.
This clip http://www.btinternet.com/~robheath/personal/IMK51048.AVI was recorded in a quiet room.
I would appreciated comments on whether the background hiss is excessive, and links to any similar clips for comparison.
Thanks Rob

There seems to be trend towards "wide screen" monitors, but there aspect ratio does not match landscape photographs, and wastes a large amount of the screen with portrait photographs.
With a mix of landscape and portrait shots presumably a square monitor would be ideal!

I would have thought that using the shake reduction would be a good thing.
Does the default setting being off imply there is some sort of "overhead" associated with running the shake reduction (increased power consumption, increased audio noise).
Any thoughts or experience out there one way or the other?

I have recorded some "Full HD 25" video on my K-5. This is saved as an .AVI file, which plays with windows media player.
However when I try and import this into Adobe Premier Elements 9 I get an error message "This type of file is not supported, or the required codec is not installed."
Has anyone got any ideas on this please?
Thanks Rob
