I'm looking for a 3rd party battery grip for the K-7/K-5 in a good condition.
If anyone has one that they no longer need can you send me a PM please.

Thanks

Rob

Going back to the original subject...this is personally what I find frustrating as a Pentax user. We could potentially be missing out on these lenses along with the new 70-300mm if there are no plans to release them in Pentax fit. It's all very well releasing great DSLRs such as the K-5 but not everyone is able to afford Pentax lenses and I think Pentax might lose a lot of new owners if thet see that the 3rd party options are not as well catered for as other brands.

I particularly like number 2 Alan especially in mono. You seemed to have captured the atmosphere of the location, well done

Hi, Rob. A pal of mine who claims to be an "international bird expert" (and shortly to appear on Autumnwatch on TV, if he's to be believed) came across this thread and was eager to help but the image is no longer available. Any chance of sticking it back on to satisfy his curiosity? I'm sure he'd give you a positive ID.

From memory, it was a great shot, by the way.

Cheers

Al
Here's the bird in question again:

It was taken last year at the Bird of Prey Centre at the Shuttleworth Collection but I didn't take note of what it was

If anyone has any idea please let me know.

Nice photo and it's the best of the bunch as well

Some of the other photos are very poor.... some even look
cropped..... after seeing what Jonathan has said it looks
on par with the type of material that you find when companies
don't want to pay for it. Yours is the only one worth paying
for.
Thank you Algi

If I get approached by these again or similar then I'll mention the subject of fees, I was so pleased that I had been approached and then the photo had finally been selected that I didn't even ask them about it.

Thanks Mike. Due to the G4S debacle the Job have cancelled more of our rest days so I'll be able to take my summer holiday in October probably!

One of my photos has been been selected to feature in an article about the World's Most Beautiful Bridges on Departures.com, a website run by American Express. It's the first one in article and they've also included a link to my flickr site, it was taken with a K-5 & Tamron 17-50mm:
