One of my photos has been been selected to feature in an article about the World's Most Beautiful Bridges on Departures.com, a website run by American Express. It's the first one in article and they've also included a link to my flickr site, it was taken with a K-5 & Tamron 17-50mm:

Well done Rob. Nice shot.

(Although the article itself was clearly flawed as there was no mention of the Forth Bridge)!

Thanks for your comments, I wasn't able to post last night as I was involved with a sporting event in East London

Nice shot!

I turned down an approach from them a while ago, for an image of a museum in Qatar, as I decided I was not prepared to give such a large company an image for free. I quoted them $300, which they said was outside their budget. I then offered them the image for $75; they said they'd get back to me but they never did. Personally I don't agree with giving companies like AMEX free images. It's not doing photography or photographers any good when multinational corporations think they can get images for free.

Nice photo and it's the best of the bunch as well

Some of the other photos are very poor.... some even look
cropped..... after seeing what Jonathan has said it looks
on par with the type of material that you find when companies
don't want to pay for it. Yours is the only one worth paying
for.
Half Man... Half Pentax ... Half Cucumber

Pentax K-1 + K-5 and some other stuff

Thank you Algi

If I get approached by these again or similar then I'll mention the subject of fees, I was so pleased that I had been approached and then the photo had finally been selected that I didn't even ask them about it.
