Nice shot Richard - looks real sharp, maybe a bigger image post on here would'av been cool.

That sky looks interesting and that grass a wee bit boring, possibly a grass crop and a bit more of em fluffy clouds?

Yep I know what you mean with HDR, once I'd got the hang of it I started doing it on loads of stuff - ended up with some real off the wall weird looking shots. I've seen some fantastic HDR stuff over on flickr.

Yep they do Dan, I tried it with their 9000 and 9500 A3 printers - only problem is its only a 6*4 print and I wasn't impressed. I'd want it A4 to properly judge.

One bonus though they've a promotion on and they did send me a coupon to send back with my original receipt for my printer and returned me the receipt along with 40 sheets of PP101 Canon paper

I think this was on any Canon PIXMA printer bought before the end of Feb - but you'd have to check with Canon.

Hi Gwyn - I've one of these Canon 4500s;
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Canon-Premium-professional-features-versatility/dp/B000U...=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1202404981&sr=8-1

Its just fantastic - only A4 but prints off it are terrific - and only £56 in the USED/NEW section.

Its got 2 separate blacks and the B&W prints off it are great IMHO.

Just printed this and it looks great on Canon's Photo paper PP101.

I could send you a couple of prints if you like - you could even send me a couple of your own pics - a colour and a B&W - no problem to print and send them to back to you.

I've read around on Tamrons sharpness so this could be an cracker. Was set on a Sigma 18-50 2.8 but waiting until March just might be worth it. (Only thing is, which March in the UK )

That is terrific!
Must have taken forever - did you have the red, white and blue food coloring on the water surface and 'plop' something through it?

I'm thinking of a flash unit very soon - still can't decide over getting one expensive 540 or 2 cheapo 360s. Or possibly the Metz equivalents.

Well spotted! One nice purchase

Maybe we should have a bargain buy thread, so time consuming pouring over the net, eyes peeled for anything Pentax.

Looks like a bit of a bargain on ebay if anybody wants a cheap big zoom;

I've just bought a similar Sigma variant off ebay for £70 which I thought was cheap - this buy looks even better

This Sigma 10-20 just doesn't leave the camera.
If it was a few stops faster I'd cement it on
A few pics of yesterday.

A cool round bit. (Think this was a door into a disused orphange).

Hi - I dont use bridge much but Lightroom - but in Bridge dont you;

Click on 'File'
Click on 'Get Files from Camera'
A window displays and you click on the 'Advanced Dialog' and it shows you thumbnails of the pics.
