Excellent photo! What liquid are you using to get the colours seperated like that (or was the colouring done in PP)?

The colour came from red and blue food colouring and the patience of a saint!

I must apologise for saying the C word. I think they are excellent for off camera flash. Since the strobist mentioned the Nikon SB24, they are a fortune on fleabay but the Canons have full manual control so they are great. One caveat, they have an autopoweroff after 2 minutes which WILL drive you insane!

That is terrific!
Must have taken forever - did you have the red, white and blue food coloring on the water surface and 'plop' something through it?

I'm thinking of a flash unit very soon - still can't decide over getting one expensive 540 or 2 cheapo 360s. Or possibly the Metz equivalents.

Have look at the Metz 480, a good comromise on power and cost
K100D Super, 18-55, 50-200, Sigma 10-20, Sigma 70mm macro and lots of old lenses
