PM me if interested?

Fabulous listing Hefty.

It must have taken you many hours to track down all those filters and caps. I know from my own experience how hard that would have been

The lens would look great on my AP, but I'm sure it will go for more than I can afford...

BTW, I'm pretty sure you have the correct rear cap.

Pentax Refconverter sold to Alun pending payment.

That just leaves the Pentax-A 2x-S teleconverter still available.

Thanks

I think the biggest issue apart from brand and manual focus may be bulk - with a 77mm filter thread this must be pretty huge compared to Pentax's own offerings at the same focal length. It's closest competitor may be the Sigma 30/1.4 - which is significantly smaller and arguably a more useful focal length.
This lens is going to be of more interest to the FF crowd (indeed it's a Nikon version shown in the picture above), where there have been a rash of 35/1.4 offerings recently. All of which are hugely expensive (£1.5k ish), so £250 seems very reasonable in comparison

That's great, I'm glad you're enjoying it Gareth

The J9 is surely one of the biggest lens bargains out there, along with the
Zenitar 16/2.8 fisheye and MTO 1000/10 mirror lens.
