Hi guys,

I was out walking with the dogs last week, one of them managed to flick a spot of wet mud onto the clear filter of my sigma 10-20.
I left it well alone until I got home. It had dried solid by that time so I soaked it until soft again and gently wiped it away with my finger ensuring not to push it across the glass. It doesn't appear to have scratched the glass but if you hold the filter at certain angles to the light you can see a smear / water mark. I don't think it will affect image quality but being as its a fairly large / expensive filter I would like to get it back to new if possible.

I've tried a lens brush and pen but can't seem to shift it.

Any ideas?

Thanks for the input guys.
I guess i was hoping someone would say that the 50-135 would do as much as the 55 and more due to the extra range.
But being as it seems it won't give equivalent shots at the same settings, I think I'll keep it and save a bit longer for the 50-135.

Hi, looking for some advise really.
I wish to buy a da* 50-135 for my k5 but I already have a da* 55 f1.4 . My question is, will the 50-135 give just as good pics as the prime when set at 55mm ? If so, then I have a 55mm for sale. If not, then I'll keep both. I have to say though I do love the da* 55 and I'll be gutted if the 50-135 doesn't live up to my expectations.

Hi guys, just logging In the first time so say hello!... Hello!
I'm new to photography other than point and shoot cameras.
I've fancied trying slr photography for a while now , so I bought myself a k30 a few months ago and have been bitten by the bug. I've since added a da* 55 f1.4 , a 50-200 wr and a sigma 10-20 f2.8 ex dg as well as the kit 18-55 wr.
After a fair amount of research I decided to upgrade to the k5 as I'm enjoying it so much.

I do a fair amount of cycling and motorcycling and feel these and photography go pretty much hand in hand . Looking forward to some warmer weather so I can go exploring for some nice shots.

Anyway, hello. I'm sure I will enjoy reading and learning from the posts written by you guys that know your stuff.
