Hi guys, just logging In the first time so say hello!... Hello!
I'm new to photography other than point and shoot cameras.
I've fancied trying slr photography for a while now , so I bought myself a k30 a few months ago and have been bitten by the bug. I've since added a da* 55 f1.4 , a 50-200 wr and a sigma 10-20 f2.8 ex dg as well as the kit 18-55 wr.
After a fair amount of research I decided to upgrade to the k5 as I'm enjoying it so much.

I do a fair amount of cycling and motorcycling and feel these and photography go pretty much hand in hand . Looking forward to some warmer weather so I can go exploring for some nice shots.

Anyway, hello. I'm sure I will enjoy reading and learning from the posts written by you guys that know your stuff.

Hello and Welcome to the Forum. Although not one myself, cycling and motor cycle buffs are sprinkled among the members here. So you are in good company

Hi Darren.

Enjoy the K5, and your motorcycling I used to love motorcycling, but due to health problems I am now unable to ride, still kept my full licence though.

Merry Christmas, and a happy new year, hope you get many happy hours on the saddle.

Take care.
Chris R.

Hello and Welcome

I also used to enjoy motorcycling (briefly) but being totally useless on a motorcycle made me realise that I should leave it alone
K10D, K5 plus plenty of clueless enthusiasm.

Welcome from Devon, after 23 motorbikes over the years I now just stick to the push-bikes.

Welcome aboard Darren, had a Douglas Dragonfly when I was a lad, wrapped it found a tractor. They mostly win, BUT, sometimes they don't.
I stick to 4 wheels and cameras now. Pete
