Sorry to hear you are not satisfied with your 16-50mm lens simonsteph. I have this lens and as a firm film chap and think the old Pentax lenses are better made and superior to the digital range, this is one of the few digital lenses I regard as being quality. So I would consider sending your lens back for a replacement!

A while back I purchased a Seagull Right Angle Finder and it came with 4-5 fittings one of which fitted my K10D. I purchased it from SRB-Griturn.
Hope that helps. It cost £60.

Thanks Kenty, interesting, but it was the Pentax K angle finder I spotted in this second hand shop and wondered if it would fit the K10D or K20 D.

Hi Rees, if you look at this page :

http://www.bdimitrov.de/kmp/misc/focus/index.html

It seems to indicate that it won't. If it fits an M body it should
be OK because they are the same size as the K10D. Strange thing is an M Refcoverter fits a K body OK so there must only be a fraction of a mm in it.

Thank you shim for the info and the link, I am still a bit in the dark though. The only thing I suppose I can do is visit the second hand shop (not photographic) again and take my camera along to try it, if it has not been sold. I saw it there, but did not have a camera with me and the chap in the shop did not know what it was.

Went on your link shim and I note your concerns, although his site as only a 3% negative feed back and many satisfied customers.
The main advertised product listing should have been amended, I to would have been mislead had I specifically wanted the Toshiba.
Hope you get some remuneration - best of luck.
I think the seller is liable under the "Trades description Act", never mind what he puts in the small print after, he clearly advertises ("invitation to treat" under the act) a Toshiba.
I would not accept anything off him other than, the card the you wanted, a Toshiba or a full refund with any postal costs to yourself.
Regards,
Rees.

Just got a Pentax 55-300mm lens off SRS that has quite a large dust speck behind the front element. I don't know whether to send it back or not. I would never have accepted it from a shop shame my local shop Kamera were out of stock. I've just returned a mint(LOL)Pentax 80-320mm to an ebay seller because the plane of focus was at about 45 deg and the lens had a bad wobble.

shim[/quote]Send it back shim, it is defective and claim all postage cost under the distance selling regulations.

There are lots of fake cards around. I've never had any trouble with any card, Lexar CF's or Sandisk SD/SDHC of various types, mostly Extreme III's.

If yours are genuine Sandisk cards, I'm sure they'll replace them FOC as i believe they have a lifetime warranty, but I'm not certain.
Yes, Sandisk have a lifetime warranty and I have never (touch wood) had a problem with Sandisk SD Cards, but I understand there are a lot of counterfeits Sandisk cards about. Try: link

Hand inspection is the thing for films if at all possible. If you use a film safe bag then it will show up as a suspicious blank area, so the operators may well turn up the intensity so they can see inside....

My experience is that slow films are not particularly vulnerable to low dose X-ray scanneras, but it would definitely be unwise to put them in hold luggage.
Agree with John on this one, put your film in hand luggage and Hand show at customs as required. Better to have your images intact than X-ray, I have taken as many as forty films through at once with no problems.
