The Rhino are a favourite of mine, like the way you have gone in close. excellent set. If you get that way again and follow the A40 to the next roundabout after Burford , turn left and you can go to Minster Lovell hall which is an impressive ruin plus a really nice Church, the "Crocodiles of the World" is another attraction along the Brize Norton road

you will be using very slow shutter speeds , the R72, which is the usual one to start with , is near as dark as a 10 stop ND. Definitely worth a play though :. Youtube is your best place to find info on using it, setting the custom white balance and if you fancy false colour how to do that plus make an IR profile for your camera. Some cameras are better than others , i found the K5 was pretty good when using a Hoya R72 filter. It is all trial and error as some lenses will give hot spots whisch can be a pain to cope with. I was fortunate to get hold of an old converted 1stDL cheap and still using it. Definitely easier. Good luck with your experimenting.

thanks , Lubbyman and john. it is an SSI (scientific special interest ) area having rare species of flora and fauna. Missed the orchids this year but did catch some Butterfly orchids a few years back but not seen any since, saw 18 different Butterflies in one session there but again not seen that many again.

well spotted and executed, amazing the colours and patterns nature gives if we look close enough

as usual thanks for looking and comments. Kevin, the grass was treated to Solarise preset ,with tweaking , in NIK Colour Efex. You could probobly get the same or similar using the Solarise adjutment in Photoshop. Chris , Simon Booth gave me the inspiration to look at the ferns ,unfortunately we do not have them the size he managed to find. He actually managed to photograph his from underneath which made for a very interesting image.
