Seriously good images - all of them. So well put together. #10 intrigues me. How did you create that? It's almost like a pen and ink drawing. Simply lovely.

What a super productive walk. I love the way that each has been isolated with nothing to distract from the detail. There's nowhere to hide with this sort of photography and you certainly don't need to here.
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

as usual thanks for looking and comments. Kevin, the grass was treated to Solarise preset ,with tweaking , in NIK Colour Efex. You could probobly get the same or similar using the Solarise adjutment in Photoshop. Chris , Simon Booth gave me the inspiration to look at the ferns ,unfortunately we do not have them the size he managed to find. He actually managed to photograph his from underneath which made for a very interesting image.

A nice set .

Creative, sensitive and artistic treatment of things that most people would walk past without giving them a second glance. And proof (if any were needed) of something I came to realise some time ago - that there's always something interesting to see if you look for the small. Definitely the sort of common I'd enjoy walking around!

thanks , Lubbyman and john. it is an SSI (scientific special interest ) area having rare species of flora and fauna. Missed the orchids this year but did catch some Butterfly orchids a few years back but not seen any since, saw 18 different Butterflies in one session there but again not seen that many again.
