More power to your shutter finger, Tom: I've found these devilishly difficult to photograph, even when compared with the elusive nuthatch :!:

I like it too! In fact, I'd be drilled to bits if I'd captured and created an image like this
With sincere apologies,

A superb capture, Howard, which I felt would benefit from a little noise reduction and slightly more sharpening . I hope you don't mind.
Kind regards,

A very satisfying image, IMHO, although, being an unreformed perfectionist (or should that be obsessive?) of long-standing, I would have felt compelled to try and remove the 'nicks'; almost certainly dimimishing the 'magic' of the image in the process :?

This is a fine and truly captivating portrait. Any further changes would, IMHO, not add to overall sense of 'rightness' that the image projects.

Highly original and superbly composed and lit: loved it as soon as I saw it :!:

The framing, exposure and colour balance are spot on for my taste and the contrasting lines and shapes work really well.
To summarise: a visual treat of towering proportions:!:

Personally, I can't see how a longer lens would have improved a shot in which the main subject is 'pin sharp', beautifully framed and set against a background that, by virtue of the chosen shutter speed, adds interest and atmosphere.
You will gather from the above, I hope, that I like the final image enormously :P

I like this a lot, Phil, and would be proud to have spotted and captured the moment 8). IMHO, had the girl been positioned a little more to the left of the frame (canvas and photograph), the final result would have had greater visual impact.
As is often the case in life, however, others may disagree
Kind regards,
