An interesting capture, but one that is a little too busy for my taste.
Swarming bee are not a common site, especially in an urban environment, so I imagine that stumbling across this one gave you a real buzz
Seriously, though, your image would be improved, IMHO, by cropping and adjusting the levels and sharpness.

A visual banquet, Roger :!:
Superb lighting, exposure, detail and composition - go to the head of the class: just try not to hurt the heads of the others as you clamber over them

Dan has a valid point but this remains, IMI, a wondeful image. I particulary like the way viewpoint, focussing and DOF have been used to create a multi-layered composition with detail and interest to indulge the eye in each.

You have captured the tint and delicacy of the blossom beautifully and offset them against the blurred background. Thoughtful cropping has resulted in a delightful composition.
Way to go Trixie:!:

A superbly sharp, perfectly exposed capture. A compelling justification for the outlay on the new lens .

Beautifully framed and exposed so as to retain detail in both the shadow and highlight areas. How hard did you have to work to find such an attractive viewpoint?
