Congrats on the PPG, long overdue that you joined the ranks. Lovely shots for starters!

I'm not in a camera club but would take the judgements with a portion of humour. Some people like to think they are gods gift to photography. If they make some constructive comments then you can think about those. As long as you are getting something out of the meets then it's fine...

Congratulations! I agree with you on the science museum one, looks better rotated (and you can submit it bigger that way round!). I would give it a try, if only just for fun.
The aircraft engine and cottage shots are great, the car is all right. I get this a lot with car shots, I do like them when I take them and when I look at them at home they don't give me much. It is a competent shot of a nice car, all right, but somehow it's lacking something for my taste.

I had little success the last weeks, images lingering for weeks and then they are declined.
Must try harder...

Now we know why Andrew is called Dr. Mhuni! He's a surgeon at heart (and a gifted one, I might add).

I cannot believe that I missed this thread. Fantastic images (well done everyone!) and I can imagine that you had a lot of fun there.
It seems that I have to plan my conference trips a bit more careful

Looking at it again (and in the bigger, 1024 x 723 sized version) I think it does work for me. I guess it is one of these cases where the image gets better the bigger it is, most probably because it is a bit busy. But there is so much to explore...

Don't know, I can see an image all right...

I agree that B&W works well with pictures like this. I think the light is not the best for the shot, I'm missing the mystic cemetery atmosphere.
I imagine it quite hard to stop shooting there...

Thanks guys,

I'm with you Gareth, some cracking entries again this round, so I feel quite lucky to win this week.
