Nice Photograph, with exception of the black background effect, this is blending very well with the 'Classic FM' music on my radio right now, 'Grieg's The Last Spring'. Thank you for the image to go with the music.

I like this shot very much; the wood grain, though not in contrast, gives a very good and appropriate background. A good example of nature attempting to return the elements back to the ground. Nice shot and colours. It shows how critically shallow the depth of field becomes in close up work; I get the impression that the rear fully opened rose was approximately 100mm (4 inches) behind the subject rose bud, yet even at f16 the rear rose is becoming out of focus which may well have been your creative intention.

Amazing! Despite being an Engineer, I didn't realise that our coinage had any iron (Fe) content; so much for those metallurgy lectures all those years ago, I hang my head in shame. I didn't believe your explanation, I thought that you must have glued them with Epoxy Resin, till I tested my coins with a small magnet and was amazed, I found that only our so called copper coins have sufficient Fe ...

An incredible macro shot Jackitec, I imagine it must have been one of those moments when you say to yourself "got it"!
