Insulin dependant since 1963 when aged 16 (still surviving on insulin injections (5 per day now) and rigid diet (weighing of carbohydrate portions)). Returned to photographic hobby after long gap since circa 1973, when I used the good old Exakta SLR film camera for close-up photography of flowers and fungi. I have not yet found a digital equivalent to that versatile camera; with it's interchangeable pentaprism/ reflex viewing hood for overhead low level viewing. It's shutter release pulled in towards the operator's face which helped to steady the camera. Now using Pentax K20D with Angle Finder and macro lens as a near digital equivalent.
