See I knew you would manage waves I actually prefer no 4 although like Paul I think it would be better with the whole of the glass. But its still an amazing shot. I too like the effect of the droplets in 3 at the base of the glass. Very very nice work

Having spent several hours last night trying to perfect one of Amin's projects with no success as at! I decided to have a go at water drops of another kind. May try Amin's version later or not

So this was your secret mission! I love the idea. The angle of the liquid is great and the colour great, have you thought about 3 different colours? I think the background should be plain, but will wait to see if you do stripes, but think whichever you use it should be bright. How about different effect on the top of the liquid, not sure how to describe it - maybe a ripple or wave affect? Love it as it is though apart from the background. Wish I had half of your ability

Like I said, don't lose any sleep over it. I probably won't even try my reflexes aren't quick enough I would just get the background

Torn between 3 and 4. I think 4 just has it. Find the reflecions in 1 and 2 a bit strange - is it just you taking the photo? Will have to look up the technic when my flash arrives - but don't lose any sleep over me being better than you

I use Corel Photoshop Pro for all my pp. I have no idea what you did to the leaf! Nor would I be able to copy it I am not that advanced in pp yet. I think all I did was either adjust the levels or the curves! I did try histogram strech and equalisation but didn't like it so undid it and tried something else until I was close to the colour in yours.

I think you may have opened another long and heated debate! You are right, however, this is getting ridiculous. I was thinking of going to either the Bakewell or Ashover Show which is coming up soon up here. As I will be going alone I have had a look at their website to check for any restrictions on lone photographers or videoers. No mention at all of what you can or cannot photograph or video. It could be an interesting experiment.
