I am afraid tey will have to wait now till Saturday. I am on antiviral distribution dties with theHS until 8pm tomorrow now, which is probably why I can't sleep
Have had another go, but probably still to green. I am struggling to adjust it without losing the light on the toadstools which I think looks god. Actually, I don't think they will be there Saturday as I bet the grass gets cut tomorrow But I am sure there will be mre to practise on soon and I will remember the scissors

I have sharpened and removed noise from both but got corel to adjust the colours on the other. Please excuse any camera shake but its difficult to set up a tripod at ground level on an uphill slope
I would be interested in which if any you prefer. I am not even sure is they make good pictures

Thanks for taking up the challenge I have another 5499 you are welcome to have a go at improving if your game I like want you have done a lot. I agree that I think the Pentax colours are better than the Canon ones - more natural, how much that is done to any pp by Peter I am not sure! Peter is an excellant photographer but to be fair on myself I probably only see his best shots! I do feel that this has gone some way to proving my point that a good photographer with a Pentax can produce pictures as good as if not better than they could with a Canon or a Nikon. I am sure that some of you will still disagree which you are entitled to
Thanks again to you all for your help with the shot and improvement advise I wasn't trying to make this into an exercise to make my photos look good

I have used one but on my K20D. I started a thread Test Shots SMC Pentax-A 1:2 50mm Lens but I was only taking flower shots and then some landscapes. I eventually got some decent results but found it hard work. Not sure if this helps at all?

I haven't commented on anything Cloudhunter has said so far but his last post were he has typed in a sentance with the letters all mixed up (I can't quote it as it is not available) to me is just taking the Michael, trying to be clever and for me insulting and that is a first on here for me. I am aware that the brain does not need to see the whole word in order to recognise it thank you. He also seems to be implying that just because we would like people to at least try and use English correctly when it is their first language and they don't have any other language difficulties that we are being snobbish and looking down on people. What exactly is wrong in defending the correct use of the English language by mother tongue English speakers? I appreciate that we cannot tell people how they should or should not write their posts however, I personally find using text speak in communication other than text very irrating and will be less inclined to respond or join in debates with the person using it. Sorry but he has annoyed me now

1) That is one picture I don't want to imagine - sorry
2) I do the exposure manually. Not sure how you set the colour unless you mean white balance?
3) Never thought of that one
