Here are some photos I have taken of Chateau Yaldara, a local wine tasting cellar . Maybe some people here have tried wine from the Barossa Valley?
They were taken with a Pentax IstDs and Sigma 18-125 3.5-5.6 lens. How do they look?

I processed them in Adobe Lightroom. I have been trying an effect lately by turning both the Black level and fill light to 100%; what do you think of this idea?[/img]

Thanks Matt, I am putting money away for Photoshop. When I have enough CS3 should be out.

Honestly I think Pentax have made it VERY clear they will not be bringing a 35mm sensor out. They have just redesigned there whole lens lineup to suit APS size sensors. People dreaming of a 35mm sensor should swap to Canon if its so important to them.

I am disappointed I never got this email. I have been using Lightroom since Beta 1. Was there something special you needed to sign up for to get a free copy?

Well after much contemplating I have decided I am going to have a dual camera setup with both Canon and Pentax. I have not wanted to stop using Pentax cameras because they have such nice bodies and lenses but I also find the Canon cameras very well thought out, fast and easy to use.
You can really see the difference in the companies when you look at lenses like the Pentax 40mm 2.8 Limited and Canon 50mm 1.2 L, or the decision to use sensor based shake reduction or lens based image stabilization.
I am really hoping the rumor is true that their will be both 7D and 3D 35mm cameras coming early next year, I really want to get a large viewfinder back again.
Is there anyone else here that does something similar to this?

20% in 12 months would be a remarkable feat. I hope they have a K1D coming then. I have thought it over and decided this joint venture probably isn't such a bad thing.

I am hoping that the new pro lenses to be introduced next year will be reasonably priced. I am still trying to get my head around it that Pentax products can be better than their Canon equivalents at lower prices.
