Accessories or other bits?
K-mount adapter that will at least talk to DA lenses (or any lens without aperture ring), as for birding, putting the Sigma 105mm Macro, or DFA 100 macro would make a very fine compact combination. Actually putting my 170-500 on the front would be fun, a bit silly but fun!
How about a fast 15mm lens? Something like F1.7/F1.8 Good for portraits and akin to the angle of view of an 85mm (yes I know about DOF, but in the studio F8 is the norm and I have used my LX-5 to good effect in the studio.....), but low light portraits where fast is needed, then it could be good.
20mm F2 macro?
30mm F4
40mm F2.8? (mind you IF a decent K-adapter came along, use the Limited)
A small tilt/twist flash for the hotshoe with a bit of power, possibly akin to the 200 flash (maybe a 150 type) small light and can put in the bag - the 540 flash will work, but again looks silly.
Ultimately the K-mount adapter is what I would like to see, then all may small primes would double up as decent telephoto lenses on a Q. Until then I will hold back on purchasing a Q (although I do love it!)

They are typical Pentax primes, ie small, sharp and fantastic!
Still, when I meet up with Dave again, we might just do a comparision, if only in the interests of science......LOL

I am off to Tallinn in May with the intention of doing various types of photography. I will only be taking primes (apart from the long end) so will have the choice of 21, 28, 35, 40, 50 and 55. Could be a pain with keep changing lenses, but then again it might not.

@ Offertonhatter... We should have done a test on Saturday! LOL!
John, I have read in plenty of places that the "F" is sharper than the "FA", but of course only by doing a side by side test could this be proved.
Mind you, having used the F for the first time on Saturday, it seems pretty damn sharp. And looking at Dave's similar images to mine with his FA, there seems nothing much in it at all.

I have viewed a few of the Digitalrev films. The k-01 review is rather complimentary- I was surprised because it would be very easy to be critical- looks ugly, no viewfinder, stupid designer blah blah blah.
DigitalRev is the photographic equivalent of Top Gear- more concerned with larking about and being entertaining than hard facts and serious tests, their opinion is just as valid as anyone elses though.
Kai has more fun making them than we do watching them so I guess the joke is really on us.
Another good one is the camera store guys in Canada. Not quite like digrev, but still entertaining and a little bit more technical. In fact they did a rather good review of the Pentax Q recently, worth a look.

In fact the pancake lens test back in Feb, the 40mm Limited trounced the other Pancakes from Sony, Pano and Olympus.
Also, early last year, they did a video to "Save Pentax", and one of the things was that he wanted Pentax to be different. Well how different can you be with the K-01.
Personally I thought he rather liked it. He did point out some of the quirks (the flappy card cover for instance and the position of the green button) but he did like the IQ of the images.

Now I am thinking, for landscape use, there is one solution albeit pricy over an eyecap or scruntchie, In fact it could be this thing's USP.
The K-01!
Told it was not a cheap option, but in fact, could be a very useful one.
hmmmmm
