It is a personal take on the place. It has drama and scale, I love it!

I have the HD Pentax-DA 55-300mm f/4-5.8 ED WR and am very happy with it. It can turn in some good results, importantly even at the 300mm end. I've never tried the Sigma to compare.

I have a cheap one. It has a very bad effect on image quality, mainly sharpness, it is a disaster, I never use it. I really must get myself a half decent one to play with. I'll be going for a well known brand from a reputable dealer.

I never use them, always use hoods, never had a problem with causing damage to the end element or the coatings.
A friend lent me their 16-85mm to try, after taking quite a few shots I realized it had a UV filter on the front, I took it off. In my opinion it was better without, there was a small difference and I don't think It was a cheap filter.
Why not try it, take some with and without the filter and see what you think.

I'm always going to enjoy work like this, very interesting and enjoyable set.
On a technical note No.8. Would I be right in guessing there is an out of focus shot included in the stack? I quite often enjoy the in camera multi exposure, often playing with the zoom within a stack and I quite often take out of focus photographs but, I'd never thought to combine focused an unfocused shots in a stack. I might be having a play with this, thank you for the idea.
I've gone through again to pick my favourites but have to say, I enjoy them as a set.

A very enjoyable set to browse, thank you.
I prefer 1 and 2 compared to 3 and 4. Is No.3 a little overexposed or perhaps the whites on the houses could just be taken down a little?
I very much like No.5.
Of the street scenes No8 is my fav but, I've enjoyed them all.
