A face that looks 'well-lived in'.

I've tried my best.

Oddly my Avatar has never been printed.

The straight answer, no.
If you Google Gregory Heisler 50 portraits, the front cover will give you the answer I think. It is a great and inspirational book, well it inspired me. The inspiration for me glancing at the fruit fly was a dog portrait by a fellow club member whose photo depicted the dog looking at a Butterfly. The different bits and pieces we pick up over time.

Thank you, I'm pretty chuffed.
Not very often you'll see me and Culture mentioned on the same page

One of our club committee members has struck up a good relationship with our local weekly paper, The Bury Free Press. They quite often do features on our photographs and what we are up to, it all helps keep up the profile of the club.
This Friday they featured a selection from our recent portrait competition and chose to use one of my self portraits as the front cover of the Culture section, which meant it also featured on the front page of the paper. Fame at last!
It didn't print too bad for newspaper.

Lovely set. If they were mine I'd think it a very successful trip out. Favourites, 1 and 4 for me but all lovely.

Why use Cowboys when you can use the Cows themselves? Good one.

Some great shots. I think it's great when peoples interests are shown. You can almost feel the love in the dog portraits.

Thank you for having a look and expressing your views, much appreciated. It is an eclectic mix but that's the way I am. Photography is something I very much do for myself but it is always great when others enjoy of find something interesting in ones work.
Here's to a great photographic 2018

As others have noted, an impressive set, bravo!
