One of the very few different nature photographs i've been voting on!
Absolutely splendid, I am glad that my vote helped it to get accepted!
Now PLEASE vote for some of mine... you recognise them cause they are the mediocre ugly pics that come up every now and then!!!!

sì ch'elli annieghi in te ogne persona! "
(Solo una piccola dimostrazione delle mie forti radici Fiorentine - peraltro abbiamo appena vinto col livorno... che serata

You know what, I have the great example of my dad who has been a very keen photographer for many years, and in his time, he bought and treasured many many spectacular lenses. All these, have been sitting on the special 'treasures' shelf for the past 20 or 30 years. I could today go to Florence, and pick up a 300 f2.8, a 200, a 15 fish-eye, and almost everything else in between, from early 70's until the mid 80's. Since the mid 80's he basically stopped taking photos, and all these fabulous lenses haven't been used at all. And its a shame.
I have started on the same path a few years back, but I really struggle knowing that some of my lenses are not being used, and although I worked so hard to buy them, I just don't put them on the camera enough. Should I just keep it and not worry about it, or should I pass it on to somebody who would really put it to work, and get the best out of it?
When I started buying expensive gear I promised myself that I wouldn't 'collect' just for the fun of it, but rather use what I need, trying not to get too attached to the material objects. When I wasn't using my second K10 body, I sold it, and I did the right thing, so what should I do now? WHats' your opinion?

The condition is PERFECT - obviously all boxes & caps are orginal.
Bought last year from SRS - Always kept protective filter on front element. At least 1 year Pentax warranty.
No scratches, no marks, completely as new.
I have checked many prices around shops, and internet retails (including USA), so this post is to see if anybody on the forum is interested, and how much you would be interested in paying for the lens.
If shipped, it will only be via special next day delivery with insurance, otherwise personal collection from London area would be preferred.
Please PM me with an offer if you are interested.
THank you,
Nathan
p.s.(this is really the hardest post I have ever written)

great stuff, gorgeous pphotographs, congratulations!!!
I voted for the picture of the fly, but I tend to get very frustrated with the amount of flower and macro photos on PPG...
Voting page after page of the same subjects is really quite boring for me, and I really look forward to some other types of photography. Nonetheless, your photos are incredible, and clearly, I still haven't had any accepted pics!!!!!
Well done
Nathan

HDR, B&W, Lens correction... a lot of work, and I am not sure what to think of it. Haven't posted in a while, so really need some beating on this one
