For my part, the convenience of CD's, and then MP3's triumphed over the pure enjoyment of listening to vinyl through a good music system years ago. I still have my old LP collection, much of it paid for by secretly spending my school dinner money on records way back when. Will never part with it, too many good memories and so much great artwork on the covers.

Perhaps we should start a new thread. What's the greatest album cover of all time ? In fact I will..

I have been trying to understand in what circumstances centre weighted metering has an advantage over multi segment metering. Tried googling the web of course, but I have not really found any good solid guide lines.

Any tips greatly appreciated.

Hi Peter,

I was (and still am for that matter) very tempted by your 500/4.5. It's a great price, but with only limited financial resources priorities have to made. Next on my shopping list is going to be a 540 FGZ flash.

I hope it goes to a good home soon. If it's still available in a few monthes time I could find a new home for it up in the artic north.

Hot and sunny in my part of the world. Sweden's national day, so we went out had a picnic. A ton of family photos taken with the K10 & 16-45 to sort through. Some really nice shots too. Great camera and great lens.

Now sitting at my laptop with an ice cold G & T. Magic.
