here's why
Sigma have stated that they wont be adding HSM to K mount lenses until there are more Pentax bodies out there which can use it. The K100D Super means that Pentax now have an entry level body with that capability and therefore brings us one step closer to Sigma HSM lenses in Pentax K mount.
The AF200FG has promise too, a nice low end flash unit for those of us who rarely use flash.

Postage is offered only to the USA.
By the time you have factored in VAT, duty, shipping, customs clearance charges, and so on, you won't be much better off than if you had bought one from Park Cameras for £529.00
G
Unless you're actually there on holiday to pick it up in person, it's not worth the hassle.

Yes but that is an EOS 400D...
Surely The Daily Planet's star 'tog ought to be packing more than a 400D? On the other hand the Spidey films have always demonstrated a lack of SLR related knowledge, why should Superman be any different?

...if they let you use a Pentax.
Plus, I didn't know Canon has Liveview

and naturally I'd have done better if they let you use a Pentax.

Which is why there are some half camera bags which are rather nice. Amazingly expensive but they are completely watertight and float.

if so I can see why it would need to be watertight!

Obviously a set of good quality primes or short zooms is going to be better image quality wise, but sometimes you want a jack of all trades lens for family holiday snapshots and the like, and sometimes you just don't want to be carrying a full on camera bag.
