I've recently got the HD 35mm and HD 15mm Ltd's.

I've found the 35mm really easy to use and super sharp.

The 15mm is much more of a handful to use from a compositional and exposure point of view and noticeably soft in the image corners. But I've seen so many amazing images from people using the 15mm I know it can be great, I'll just have to keep trying and learning!

Hi,

I've got a SMC PENTAX-FA 1:2.8 MACRO 50 mm and a SMC PENTAX-DFA MARCO 1:2.8 100 mm WR and I actually prefer the older 50 mm lens, it is incredibly sharp.

Not that the 100 mm lens is bad in any way, I just find the 50 mm easier to use and if anything the sharper of the two lens.

Plus the 50 mm FA lens has an aperture ring so it is usable on old film cameras.

BIF = Bird In Flight

Uni-Loc is pretty much identical to Benbo in design. I have the Benbo which I got from a colleague. I only use it occasionally, it's very strong but can be a bit of a handful to set up! But it can do things no ordinary tripod could do.

Fooled me! Mind you it's a few year since I last went to Wastwater.

I'll look out for Fleetwith Pike as we hope to get up to the Lakes some time this year.
