Nice lens and price, here's a link to the forum's equipment galley of images taken using such a lens:

Thanks, it was rather tempting.

My favourite by some margin is the second image, though I agree that it needs that sea horizon levelling.

Monochrome is great!

A few days ago I actually bought a lens from them a smc PENTAX-DA 40mm F2.8 XS. It was a reasonable price, arrived very quickly well packed and in very nice condition. It came with the original front lens cap and a third party rear lens cap. So my experience was generally positive.

Is it a good lens is another question, I've been using it for a couple of days on my K1. It's tiny, weighs almost nothing, the colours are nice, it doesn't seem as sharp as some of my other Pentax lenses, though to be fair it's wasn't designed to be used on Full Frame.

Thus begins a rabbit hole ...

Don't have a name, but the fish was this big! 🙂

Yes a cracking set of striking images!

It had a full life! 😎

Yes I've found that the 80-320 is pretty nice except at the extreme of the telephoto end which is soft.

Love the young Robin.
