Have to agree with Mannesty - while I was reading the post I was printing on my Epson Stylus R800. Once I started using the correct Epson profiles and calibrated my monitor it has been flawless.

I actually was going to ask if it was "Life on Mars" as we are now getting it in Canada. I believe we are stll in the first season. Great program - my wife and I try not to miss it.

No problems with you assuming the title "most mature forum member" - I take it by "going to Mars" you mean astronomy or am I missing something?

Funny, I bought my first autofocus Pentax about 9 years ago because of focusing problems and I thought it was my eyes. Turns out later that it was the camera and not the eyes - but a great way to upgrade.

Unfortunately I can't see the picture. I'm jealous as I have been a Dr.Who fan since the first episode - I have most on DVD. We get the new series about six months behind you - just picked up the series two set.

In addition to Epson paper I have also used the Ilford Pearl finish paper and I agree it is excellent. Henry's camera chain in Canada has put out a Satin finish that works well with the Lustre setting on the R800 (for any Canadians having a R800).
