Can anyone tell me if the 645D has a tilting rear screen please. I'm very interested in buying one as the 645Z is a little out of reach financially at the moment.

I'm not certain I will be getting a K1 that quickly either, but it seemed prudent to get the lens converted while the offer is on. I suppose too that if I decide to part with the lens its a good idea that its done in case a K1 owner is interested. I was in the area anyway, and as its quite expensive to post the lens because of the insurance it seemed like a plan.

I delivered my Sigma 70-200 f2.8 to the Service Centre at Wewyn Garden City last Thursday around 4.00pm for the mount mod as I was not too far away at Cambridge.

It's just arrived back this morning (Tuesday), in Conwy, a journey of 230 miles, at around 9.30am.

I wasn't the original owner and I wasn't asked for proof of purchase at all.

That's excellent service in my book and a big thank you from me.

Would you care to share what AF settings you used please, ie what number of AF sensors selected? Was AF-c or AF-s selected, and did you use the AF button?

Sorry to be so inquisitive but I'm still trying to get to grips with my K3 c/w Sigma 100-300 f4. I'm slowly increasing my keeper rate and had more success at RIAT this year but all info helps, especially as a K1 is looking likely in the near future.

I'm still getting to grips with my K3, and a visit to Flying Legends at Duxford is fast approaching. (Next Weekend!). I'm hoping that you fellow aviation 'togs can help me out with the best af settings to use? I haven't as yet had time to experiment with small aircraft although it is fine with airliners although, as is obvious they are much bigger, fly predictably and are much slower than a Spitfire. I'll be using a Sigma 100-300 f4 with a 1.4x converter.

Any advice will be gratefully received.
