Thought I'd pose a question to anyone interested. I know there is firmware available for the sisiter cameras to the S/S4 - the Casio Z3/Z4 to address, I believe, exposure, white balance issues.
Does anyone know if there is any firmware available for the S/S4?
We do not have the white balance issue to resolve , so as yet the answer is no.Thought I'd pose a question to anyone interested. I know there is firmware available for the sisiter cameras to the S/S4 - the Casio Z3/Z4 to address, I believe, exposure, white balance issues.

Yep, I love my Optio S4 and carry it everywhere with me.
There are a lot of Optio S users that feel the same way, as the tYahoo group i set up a couple of months ago now has over 525 members. See below for link. We're just about to announce voting for the winner of our Winter 2003 competition, generously sponsored by Pentax!
Also click the www link for my PBase galleries.

One of the members of the myOptioS group has succesfully done this using NoviiRemote (http://www.novii.tv/products/noviir/) for Palm. Please visit the group below and search for message 267, alternatively if you are a member click the link below.

I'd love to set up my One For All remote to do it, too.
Hope that helps,

Is it possible to use "Best shot" files that the Casio Exilim Z3/Z4 uses? These cameras are almost identical to the Optio S/S4.
