What a beautiful photo.

It has (for me) that rare ability to make you want to sit and stare at it for a very long time.

Very worthy of a very large print.

My photography has definitely improved over the last year.

This is due to:

1. Upgrading from a Canon bridge camera to a K-7 ( and contracting the associated LBA )
2. Taking photography night-school clases at the local college and
3. Joining PU Forum and getting some great advice and support.

I'm looking to buy a small holster case for the K5, purely for use when I'm just taking the camera + attached lens out, ideally something not too bulky - I'd appreciate any suggestions

thanks

Simon
Having got a big bag ( Tamrac Evolution 8 ) that holds everything and a small one ( Lowe-pro Nova 140 ) for the K7 + extra lens + flash I've been looking for something similar - a soft cover rather than a case.

I've just bought the Pentax neoprene case designed for the K7.

I think it's only intended to be used with the 18-55 lens (or similar size) and it is a snug fit. However I did try it in the shop with an 18-135 ( potential future purchase ) and it did just fit.

If you press the INFO button whilst in Live View it will zoom in. Keep pressing it and it will zoom in up to 6x. Keep pressing it and it will return to un-zoomed.

A great set.

I like the way that most of the mid-air shots are out of the context of the ramp itself. You just don't know quite how high they are!

A lovely set. No. 3 is my favourite.

I've been looking for a view like this in the bluebell woods near us but have been unable to find one as nice as this. Unfortunatly they seem to be going over already due to the exceptionally warm and dry weather.

An impressive set. I'm planning on going next year (or at least my other half is planning to take me). Rather like No4.
Thanks

The horse in No. 4 is owned by Alain Prost and was definitely going at full throttle when I took the photo!

Thanks for the comments

Great set, number 3 would have been superb if it wasn't for those people. (Don't you just hate spectators)
It was very busy on Sunday and generally 4 deep at each jump. I know 2 & 3 would have been better without the spectators but like the way it make you feel like part of the crowd.

K-7 did very well ... wonder how much better the K-5 would have been with it much improved AF, higher dynamic range and high ISO.
I'm still getting to grips with the capabilities of the K-7 so can't quite justify the next step to K-5. Although these were taken in ideal conditions the higher ISO performance of the K-5 is very tempting.
