Its worth contacting SRS, thay had a shipment of 16-50's and 50-135's last Wednesday. The 50-135 availibility has been updated on their web site, but not the 16-50 so maybe all that they received had been pre-ordered.

BTW, as G says, it's a stonking good lens, you'll not be disappointed.

First thing I noticed was that he hasn't named the manufacturer (unless I missed it). Secondly, if it's as good as he says, why is he selling it?
Personally, I wouldn't bother.

I made a hammerhead gun out of a Pentax hot shoe grip (which I modified) + bracket and I can put any flash unit on top, I've used AF500FTZ, aF360FGZ (wirelessly triggered) and a AF540FGZ (wireless or wired triggering).

I will deliver it personally
Yeah, of course you will

Good luck, my experience is that great lenses can be bought cheaply when they are offered as part of a kit, as this one is. Chances are you'll get most of your money back selling the surplus kit.

BTW, I'll not be bidding, just in case you were in any doubt. If you win, make sure you post some results.

It's a shame he'll only ship to Oz.
Not for me its not
I have decided to have a go for it. The guy is only 10mins from my work and will allow pick up so i will save on postage also.
So if I win, you could pick it up for me and ship it to Spain ? ? ?

well on my search it says what I wrote...one even went for 90 quids on a "nuy-it now" So i'll go for 70 and give it a try that way!
My mistake. Following Georges link, the Buy it Now one went for 90 Euros or £60.88. Good luck with your sale.

well then appart from the one which was sold for £ 31 (!!!!)
two went for 81 and £90...
So I guess £70 would be fair, wouldn't it?
Look again, more closely. Only 3 of them actually sold. The highest price achieved was £42.15 + about £15 for postage.

I did see a test with the camera sitting on the bonnet of a petrol sit-on lawnmower Pretty excellent results actually.
You mean this K100D test (K100D & K10D have the same SR system) http://forums.dpreview.com/forums/read.asp?forum=1036&message=19647176

What would the going price be on the market for this one in superb condition?

// Mats
As much or as little as anybody is prepared to pay for it. These are as rare as hen's teeth and in good condition, will always be a sought after lens. Price tag will probably be in thousands of pounds, rather than hundreds.

To think that "it should help a bit" is probably an under estimate. It should help a lot. Enjoy it.
