Did you use flash, or has that squirrel got cataracts?

#2 is excellent.

I've used it to setup my K10D. So far so good.

What an ugly critter. Good capture though, well done.

I have one of those, but aren't they supposed to be waterproof? The zips certainly have water resistant covers to them.

I like all of them, but I don't like strawberries, they upset my stomach. Visually though, no problem.

I think i know where i can get a af500ftz used for £80 i dont have the budget for elinchrom strobes right now , if i was to have the room very dark and get the subject repeat her moves and slowed her down whilst the using the strobe would that work?
I'd say £80 was reasonable but make absolutely sure that there is no corrosion in the battery box, and that the silvering of the reflector is in good order. Any sign that the silvering has black patches could mean that the flash has suffered battery leakage. If it's not too bad it's still worth having, but not at £80. Offer £40.

You could also try using a flash with a strobe feature (the 500 ?), which if used in a darkened room would yield several images on one frame.

That's the AF500FTZ. A damned good flash and going cheaper than it deserves on fleabay. If it were P-TTL capable . . . it'd be the bees knees as it were.
Ssssh. Don't tell everybody.

I was rather hoping Don might have popped in with a bolt-on (or velcro'd) Meccanoesque P-TTL attachment by now.

I wouldn't. Harrow Technical or Asahi Photo are my recommendations. They both have trained technicians working for them, not gap year students.

To be honest, it might be cheaper to replace it from that well known auction site. The P30 goes for next to nothing. You could always upgrade to one of the MZ series as an alternative. JohnMcD on here has an excellent MZ5N and a Z1P for sale (and I'm not on commission). Then again, Gary Moffat has a K10D + kit lens for sale at a reasonable price too (just don't ask him why he's selling, 'cause he won't say :wink.
