I use Avast, it can do a boot scan, monitor incoming files and e-mails and it's free too.

This thread got me thinking........

I once had an AGFA Isolette 220 roll film camera that I picked up, with a damaged bellows for a couple of quid.

I repaired the bellows and was off around London with my new toy. I've probably still got it somewhere. I never realised its full potential as my enlarger was 35mm only so I never made anything other than contact prints. I will still have the negs too.

Not in the same league as the Pentax 645 system, but I might dig around for it and the negs from it.

Come to think of it I haven't even scanned any of my 35mm work either!

Warm up the scanner..........I'm gonna be busy.

Thanks guys for the idea.........

Regarding the towel:
The Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy has a few things to say on the subject of towels...

This is very true. It does not, as far as I know, have anything to say about spirit levels......it does however have this to say about the Janx spirit......on which the Pan-Galactic Gargle Blaster is based.

"It says that the best drink in existence is the Pan-Galactic Gargle Blaster. The effect of which is like “having your brain smashed out by a slice of lemon wrapped round a large gold brick“."

More my kind of spirit.

I have a rocket blower, lens pen, a sensor pen, and a compass but I'm not sure where they all are.

I do, however, know where my towel is...

I have one but have never used it. It is currently in my sock drawer.

I bought it for £15 mainly because the seller (on ebay) advertised it as coming with a free Pentax SMC A50mm f1.7. I do use that lens quite a bit.

I have no idea about it's value or anything else - but I might take it out when I get home and give it an outing.

I have and love the FA28-70mmAL F4.

Its a great lens with lovely colours. I felt it was a step up IQ wise from the original 18-55mm and partners my 10-24 & 70-300 Tammys perfectly.

I've been eying the Pentax lens prices from Microglobe.

The have the DA15 for £509.

Much cheaper the SRS or anyone.

Is it too good to be true?

Any experiences?

The only time I've been asked to take someones photo was, again in London, by a tourist.

It was a while ago and I was wondering around with my FA+24mm and a role of HP5.

They handed me their camera, a small 35mm film P&S.....the only thing I remember was.............Nice little camera...and .......PENTAX

I've become old, I have.

My kids nanny Pam gave me a bottle of Harvey's Bristol Cream.

And in the last hour I have imbibed 1/2 of it.

I am old.

I enjoyed it. Quite a lot.

I am old. Maybe I am may be I'm not but 3/4 of a bottle later - Harvey is a hero.
