Shot these today something a little bit different for me all with the K30 a 31mm Limited and the 18-55mm kit lens and a bit of window light.

As title suggests shot with my K30 M 28mm and B+W 10 Stop Filter. Processed in Silver Efex Pro.

Thanks Nigel that kit lens has produced some of my best shots. There was still a good bit of light to the front of him had to brighten up his face a little bit though.An impressive angle and nice lighting make this work so well . Who'd ever think this was shot on a kit lens ?!? How did you get the effect of light coming onto the subject .... looks like he must have been mostly in shadow ?
