Hi Chris,
I've tried it on both my K30 and my fathers K3 no joy with both i also have a sigma flash which works fine on both cameras. Worked perfectly when last used a month or so ago, all operations seem to work just doesn't fire flash.

Thanks for the info Simon latest firmware now installed! flash still not bloody firing will keep trying.

Metz firmware info is to remove batteries have flash turned off and connect to usb on computer. Computer is not reckonising device. Anybody else had any issues with firmware updates on metz?

Thanks chaps yes shutter speed all correct Chris. Trying a firmware update as we speak Brian will let you know the outcome.

As the title flash is working in every way except actually firing i have tried it on my K30 as well as a K3 but having the same problem. Any suggestions much appreciated.

Took a quick couple of shots of this at work last week K30 F50mm and 2 bare flashes one left side of car and one front of car. Processed in Lightroom.
