Shot these today something a little bit different for me all with the K30 a 31mm Limited and the 18-55mm kit lens and a bit of window light.

I like them
K10D, K5 plus plenty of clueless enthusiasm.

What a great series of pictures. What ever one thinks of the process and resulting damage, the rich, balanced tonal range is near perfect.
Best wishes,

Andrew

Just show my ignorance, at this size I can't really tell the difference between the £1000 31mm Ltd shots and the £50 kit lens shots... All look really good..

Can anyone spot which is which ?

Perhaps if they were printed very large one could but for the net? Well I certainly can't.
Best wishes,

Andrew

This keeps being mentioned in photos I really like the look of...

Nice set.

Agree there's not a lot of difference between the two lenses, in that each look really good.

I use my kit lens all the time for landscape and i find it gives me really excellent results, As for the 31mm limited i have access to this and the 77mm limited( my father owns both:lol with both of these lenses i seem to have some hit and miss shots but when they are right both lenses really shine. Number 2 is the kit lens by the way all others are 31mm Limited.

I was gong to say 3 was definitely the 31. And the last one. Couldn't make my mind up about the rest
I find the blacks a little dense for my tastes. I like number 3.
