I have remembered the website rocky cameras www.rockycameras.com based in Bournemouth. Haven't used them myself. Another one is www.ffordes.com
(I have just looked on Rocky cameras-they have 19 brackets to choose from)
Best of luck

Nice images John. I liked your idea of the 'bodyguard'.

Is one of the bodyguards some member of your family by chance-I do seem to recognise some resemblance (without the hat).

Would like to see some more of your days' photography, especially the lowlight-what was the ISO you decided upon?

Hope you managed to get the opportunity to join in the celebrations.

Have you tried the Oxfam website, maybe one there. Also, a business was mentioned on this site, but I can't recall its' name, they had many cheap accessotires as I recall. I believe the business is based in the south.

Hope you find your grip

Many thanks for the links MM, I'll look into the book as a reference guide.

I am going through some old textured finish monochrome photographs (lustre?).

I have been getting some highlights very visible on the the open scanned image. Having investigated this there appears to be a plugin called FFT, but there appears to be contradictory comments in various forums (some say it works, others state the contrary, also, I have read that it is no longer available for download(.

I'm now totally confused. Does anyone have the simple resolution to the problem without going into frequancy separation which looks complicated.

Many thanks

Many thanks John, such a simple resolution. I'll have to look for some more SD cards and get more organised in my workflow.

Thanks again

I'm hoping someone can throw some light onto a small problem.

I have just taken a card from a K5iiS and placed it in a K7 to tes a piece of equipment. The K7 permits me to view the images taken in the test, but does not permit me to view the images that was already on the card taken with the K5. The error message "This image cannot be displayed".

To put a spanner in the works... the same card inserted into the K3 can be viewed perfectly.

Any ideas?

You have some nice images there.

I find them very tranquil and relaxing. I can envisage them at 20" x 16" on a lounge wall, or on a restaurant wall or even in a dentist's waiting room. Malcombe

I have recently got to grips with the Wacom Tablet. In the first week I had worn out one of the tips/nibs.

I have sourced some Wacom replacement tips/nibs, but they are a tad expensive (£4.99 for 5). To date I have been unable to source a bulk supply of these tips/nibs at a lower cost.

I am confident that somewhere I can purchase larger quantities of the tips/nibs. OR..... am I doing something wrong?

I emailed Wacom Europe 10 days ago, but no reply as yet.
