Do I see some CANON gear within the back pack, or do my eyes deceive me?

Hi Mattie
You do have several choices. You can purchase the 77mm ND filter of various density.
Or purchase the 77mm variable density filter
You can then purchase various adapter rings to fit all the lenses you have.

An alternative would be a Lee Filter Holder with the Lee Big Stopper. (10 stops)

It depends on the quality of the image you demand.

The more you pay the better the quality, usually

I've never heardof the software program you are using.

Have you considered giving up the program and getting a copy of Adobe Elements? At least there are tutorials available free of charge on the internet and members on here who can help you-also quite a lot of tutorial books for Elements.

I know that you have to pay for Elements, but I do think it would be a good investment.

Best of luck

Have you tried looking on ebay?

You may not get a screw in sync cap, probably a push on.

The price from China is probably in the region of £2.00 for 10 and that includes postage.

You''l have a good supply for future losses

Number 1 for me as well.

Looks like it's number 1 Andrew, hope this coincides with your wife's choice.

I do agree with John's post. The number of people I know who use their mobile phones to take pictures, then either lose it, damage it and not bother to print.

I was in conversation with someone in the trade, and they felt that film will be here for many years, unfortunately the processing labs probably won't be and perhaps neither will the film and chemicals for home processing. Monochrome film is so expensive these days, manufacturers in a sorry decline.

I don't use film now, digital is cleaner, (probably healthier when you think about selenium toner and other chemicals used in the darkroom), quicker to post process (somehow removing that annoying dust spot using 'ink' and an extremely fine brush, doesn't appeal to me anymore).

Hi Reso
I have used this lens on K7 and K5iis in a confined space it proved to be very useful with good image quality.

However I have not put the lens through a rigorous test.

Edited: Apologies I was typing this post whilst Chrisru had posted theirs.

I have just watched Countryfile on computer. (try searching for BBC iplayer, then countryfile-for those that haven't got it saved as a favourite)

All photographs will be liked by some and not by others-opinions are personal.

I don't know the photographer but I believe that he has some undertaken a lot of work with a shepherds in Cumbira, as well as documenting a shepherdess, and I think he has some books published.

A lovely part of England
