I'm not keen on the poppies, too surreal for my eyes. But each to their own.

My eyes are drawn to the shadows on the wall, I'm certain that there can be some inference to the armed service personnel who so sadly left behind loved ones, or the fact that each poppy represented a human being who once cast a shadow on a wall.

I don't usually interpret photographic images, but I can definitely 'see' something.

I would use the lens that's attached to your camera.

Very nice photos. My favourite by a small margin is the bridge over the river Swale.

The image well deserves to be a Christmas card.

Lovely images taken in a lovely part of the country.

Timbo and Reso are both advertising items for sale, but there is no comments to say they cannot do that, yet Stu62 has been singled out. I'm all for one rule for all,

I suggest that you and John look at the advert by Timbo plus one other posted today.

to the comment by spinno, I have seen loads of items for sale within the general forum, not all attract comments from spinno

Why have you selected this one as opposed to all the other previous items for sale?

Hi, from another Pentax User in Essex, Just down the road from you.

The image at first glance gives the appearance that it has been uploaded as horizontal in error.

But I quite like the landscape portrayal. It is sharp with a nice bokeh. The colours look spot on.

If I was being really stupidly critical (like some Judges are!) perhaps the reflection of the flash is a tad too blown out.

How did you manage to attach the bottle to the wall?

All in all a nice photo Stu62. Great subject, well executed and probably enjoyed the contents of the bottle.
