pc sync cap

Hi I'm looking for my K-3 pc sync cap. Maybe someone have for sale?

Along with the grip socket plug and the little plastic eyepiece cover, the most absurdly expensive items on your Pentax dslr.
Being rather aged, I found these little caps almost impossible to screw in without dropping them.
It took me a long time to find a s/h replacement sync cap for my K5 - I was not prepared to pay £5 for one!

For less than a fiver I bought a little cube that sits in the hot shoe and has a socket in the side and a repeat hot shoe on the top. Works fine. (Especially on the K10 which, of course, lacks a sync socket!)

Have you tried looking on ebay?

You may not get a screw in sync cap, probably a push on.

The price from China is probably in the region of £2.00 for 10 and that includes postage.
