All very nice, and I would love to know how you made the first one, great shots.

Various ways, I use Rawtherapee, click top right meta data, and drill down . Can take time finding the first time, but drill in there.
In linux you can use the command exiftool, parsing the shutter count, use grep,
E.g.. exiftool imagefilename I grep "Shutter Count"

On the KP there is a f button "AF Mode" just above the AF/Manual focus switch. You press this and turn the rear dial to your choice and turning the front dial gives multiple choices that I haven't explored yet, even selecting your own point. I have only had the kp over a year LOL and still haven't mastered it! Page 60 in the manual.
Hope that helps.

thanks punkrockemo, much appreciated for KP - so It's possible if the function dial is set to AE ?

Is it possible to assign metering mode to fx1/2/3 ? I downloaded the manual and as far as I can see it's not ? Has it been changed via firmware update perhaps ?

cheers
On the kp you can set the function dial to AE, then dial in your choice, multi or centre weighted or spot. I played with it once but now I must have changed it!
I recall seeing it change in the viewfinder
I have gone through the settings and you can't IMHO set up this to a function button.

I took this picture on the KP FA* 300mm set on spot metering, although it's not a good picture I know, but I kind of liked the result due to the spot metering effect (at least that's what I believe), no pp.
The second is the same picture with PP to increase exposure which shows the actual scene as per viewfinder.
All replies welcome and advice (I'm thick skinned) as I was at first surprised at the result, even though it could have been sharper!
