TBH....I did not move me, until I read the keywords and could understand what was happening in the picture.
Well going by your last winning submission, I can understand that you are not easily shockable

Well done Galoot, sorry to be a pain in the A!

Super image Martin, I too thought it looked like a DVD horror movie cover, very realistic.

Darlene's was very disturbing, that very straightforward newsy mono conversion added some edge

My entry was 3 separate layers, the flip flops was the hard bit, learnt a few new PS techniques there, But this is what it is all about...........they ran for higher ground!

how many photographers out there who wd be comfortable and totally at home in 35mm format

Yes

pink wrote:

do you really know photography or just shoot and hope.

Yes, but I dont presume to know everything about photography - that wd be too much of an anticlimax

pink wrote:

if you had to go back to 35mm would you survive

Yes, I would survive mainly because I feel I have become an even better photographer since owning a DSLR.

However, I am very much looking forward to eventually getting my first medium format a Hassleblad 500cm 6X6 Filmmmmmmm camera.

I can see myself working with a DSLR, PP and print; 6x6 film, dark room print & finally 6x6 film, scan and PP.
A little bit of what you fancy is a perfect recipe, well this is mine anyway )

Thank you Martin, hope everyone else agrees (re the date bit), I suppose I could have cheated and made a new image file but I am too honest TBH I think it is a great theme, I had so many ideas, I do love the dark side!
