Thanks Michael! I think it's better cropped as well, though I'd given it a bit more space on the left and a little less on the right.

Hahaha, well, for your information: I didn't vote in the poll! Maybe I'm just a nice and helpful person with no hidden agenda.

Ohw, I'd forgotten all about your outing. I can't see any pictures anywhere though.

Finally, some rain! I bet you most people are pleased, not to mention the animals and flora. Nice picture!

Don't despair - winter is coming.

Do you mean stitching btw? I'm asking because I've heard a lot of positive things about a free program that seems to deal very well with e.g. portrait pictures, much better than Hugin and others. If you're interested, let me know and I'll look up the link.

Thx Gareth. He's had a lousy life in Spain for about 10 years and we adopted him a year ago and are trying to give him some fun during his remaning years. He's a lovely, little, cuddly fellow with a mind of his own. The awkward teeth are due to malnutrition as a puppy.

Good question! Mind you, the IQ of a picture usually has more to do with the lens that you used, hasn't it? Could you post a larger copy of the picture? I quite like it, but I'm sure it'd look even better at a bigger size.

This picture was taken with a Tamron 28-75 2.8. I've only had it since Wednesday, but it really is nice.
