Lidy do you have all night? to cut a long story very short, the weather,
I was sick of the dark winters and the rain in Scotland so I sold up everything and moved here in January 1986.

Sounds like a very good reason to me! I lived in the south of France for a while (end seventies); shouldn't have come back - life is so different there. Anyway, you probably appreciate a bit of rain now, so enjoy!
