But these last days I've been looking for a internet site where I can find the "street" price of many of these lenses. But without luck.

The Sigma 100-300 is really my number one choice at the moment, but I can't find any internet, nor real shop were I can see what it costs.. ???

The only place I can find a price is at Sigma's homepage, but I don't think thats the street price...

Is the Sigma 135-400 good, because I've been considering that one.

For a long time I've wanted to buy a telephoto lens. I only have a 28-200 sigma something something.

I've considered a 70-200mm f2.8 and a teleconverter, but I'm not totally convinced.

I would at least like a 400 mm, because I love taking pictures of wildlife, birds and so forth ..

What would you buy if, say you had 500£ ?

I don't know if I'm braking rules at this point (if I am, please erase this thread).

But here goes.

I live in Denmark and my parents are going to Salt Lake city in june.

So do any of you know a good shop, or just a shop in the Vicinity of Salt Lake City ?

It is way to expensive to buy lenses in DK to let such a chance pass

I did notice the auto/manual focus ring change. Heh..

The auto fokus was working the first minutes it was on the camera. But now only the manual focus works...

I have been toying a bit with the problem, and it seems like my camera doesn't recognize which Aperture is chosen.

I mean. When in Av-mode. If I change the opening on my camera, it changes the shutter speed. So the camera have contact to the lens, and it is able to change the aperture automatically.

But the camera doesn't recognice which Aperture opening is chosen, writing F--

At the same time, when I turn on my camera, it asks me for Shakereduction Focal length, like it doesn' t recognice its an Automatic lens... ??? (the only time it asks me this is when I use my manual 50mm f1.7 KA-mount) ??

What am I doing wrong ?

About this lens and the K10D.

Have just received this lens today from the US. But I have a problem with it because the "A" mode doesn't work properly.

On the camera it shows "F--" and when this happens it can't autofokus...

Can anybody help.. please tell me that it is simple to fix... :

could anyone please sell on on ebay, or maybe a hundred, so there's a chance for everybody to get one. (that is me, cause i'm a bit slow)
