I knew this could be fun, Peter, bow as in ribbon or Robin Hood

It could also be as in front of boat, I'd not thought of it that of that way

Accents aside, how does one pronounce bokeh, is it

1) bow key

2) boke (like boat)

3) some other way

Now this should be an interesting thread

And you didn't tell me

Them little beasts can't move, cos they been "superglued" there, well that's what I'd have to do to get sharp shots like these.

He's my thoughts for what they are worth, the 28mm can almost be preset or fixed focus and left alone in normal light conditions, where everything will be "apparently" sharp. It don't get quicker or better than that for a walk around lens Also no cost implication, it allows LBA to used elsewhere on a another must have.

The pancake can be a sod to focus if you've got shovels instead of hands like me, especially if you have the grip fitted. That is without sticking your digits all over the front element and leaving fingerprints,

That's of course assuming the pancake is not autofocus version, i.e. A series or before manual types.

Nice one Matt

Sorry no contribution today, just picked up today SMC Pentax-A* 1:2.8 200mm ED and I'm a very happy bunny

Not that often now, but I still keep a couple of LX's in the bag as back ups to my K10D's

Believe it not I got one today, deep joy. After scouring all around the planet, Ffordes just down the road from me had one. Very happy bunny

Hey Don, sounds to me like you must have some Scottish ancestry, that was said like a true Scot.

Take a good tripod or some other means for some of the amazing vistas you will no doubt come across.
