Sorry - another query - is there room in the bag to store say some sandwiches, a small flask or water bottle etc - when out walking you not only need your camera equipment but sustenance!

Hi Claudio

A couple of queries

What would postage cost?

Is it the basic bag or are there any extras eg camera straps etc

Cheers

John

Just had a look at Amazon and found this link

Typical....only £979.93 for body only including delivery. I knew that would happen not long after I bought one...oh well.

But - I love the camera although I am still getting to grips with some of the features. The operating manual has 328 pages!

Cheers.....John

Many thanks - think I'll have to move away from Birmingham!!!!

This will date me but I remember seeing the Milky Way in all it's glory in London! I was 4 and it was the blackout so NO light pollution and my mother pointed it out - it stuck in my memory.

I've had clear views since (no photos) in the wilds of Canada where my brother lives but 1944 was the best.

Thanks Alun - very interesting - a whole new area to consider if I want to photo stars! I've got OK results with the moon but never tried stars. The moon is nearly full at present - when we have a new moon I'll try out the live view to see what it's like for stars. That link was very interesting.

BTW bearing in mind light pollution where would you go to 'shoot the stars'?

Cheers...John

I'm lost - or thick:

How does a camera - K7 or otherwise - focus past infinity? Am I missing something?

I've used live view on a couple of occasions but prefer the viewfinder - mind you I've not tried stars yet. Live view is good for movies on the K7.

Sorry Martin - got 'carried away' by the ant - I meant to comment on your Water Flower. A very inventive photo - I love the colour and the shapes within the 'flower' - what happened to the rum::

I'm a sunset nut and I was particularly impressed with 'Eemshotel at sunrise' - a stunning sunset behind the hotel.

Cheers

John
